No Winner for 2005 Heisman Trophy

A day after Reggie Bush’s announcement about forfeiting the 2005 Heisman Trophy, which is the most prestigious college football award, the Heisman Trophy Trust announced that the 2005’s trophy will remain vacant. This news has annoyed the NCAA football betting enthusiasts, as they were anxiously waiting for the declaration of the new winner’s name.
Bill Dockery, the president of the Heisman Trophy Trust, in an interview on Wednesday said that, the trust has come to a final conclusion that there will be no winner for the 2005 Heisman Trophy. He added that since it is five years already, it is too late to have a re-vote. Also, things have undergone many changes since then. He concluded saying that it is time to look into the future, rather than the past.
This is the first time that the award is being returned by a winner.
With the football season continuing full on, the NCAA and the NFL betting fans are looking forward to see some great matches and new winners this season.
